Why is the 'Pakistan team' being mentioned before the World Cup final?

The Green Shirts returned home before the semi-final of the ICC showpiece event, but before the World Cup final, the "Pakistan team" is also being mentioned.

Pete Cummins, speaking before the final match of the World Cup, said that the final of the ICC event 2023 will be held on the same pitch where the teams of India and Pakistan clashed on October 14 in Ahmedabad.

The Australian captain confirmed at the pre-match press conference on Saturday that the World Cup final against India will be played on the used pitch at the world's largest cricket stadium, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Cummins said that this will be the same pitch that was used in the October 14 match between India and Pakistan. I have seen the pitch but I can't read the pitch accurately but it looked pretty tight.

He said that the pitch has only been watered, will give it another 24 hours and then look at it, but it looks like a very good wicket.

Asked if they could confirm whether it was a used wicket or not, the fast bowlers said yes, I think Pakistan played the match on that pitch.

The only match that Pakistan played against India was held at the Narendra Modi Stadium. This pitch was quite hard in the beginning but as the game progressed the ball was coming on the pitch.

Pakistan started the match well but after a strong position, the green shirts were bundled out for 191 runs in the middle overs by the bowling of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj. India easily chased down the target in 30.3 overs for the loss of 3 wickets.

It should be noted that if the pitch behaves similarly, the toss will once again play an important role here as the team winning the toss will want to field first so that batting can be done easily in the field lights.
