Beijing: China is providing free facilities to passengers from 54 countries at its border ports under the free transit policy.
According to the details, China has extended its visa-free transit policy, allowing Norwegian citizens to stay for 72 to 144 hours, after which the total number of applicable countries has increased to 54.
According to the National Immigration Administration, citizens of 54 countries traveling to a third country will be exempted from visa requirements for 72 or 144 hours during transit.
According to the report of the Chinese News Agency, the statement of the National Immigration Administration said that this facility will be available at the ports of Chongqing in southwestern China, Xi'an, the capital of northwestern Shaanxi Province, and Ningbo in eastern Zhejiang Province.
The list also includes major cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Wuhan and Guangzhou. Meanwhile, the visa-free transit policy has also been facilitated at the three border ports of Changsha, Gilan and Harbin.
