Minors driving were barred from appearing in courts

Orders were issued to the SHOs to release the minors who were driving





The court stopped minor children who were driving from being produced in courts. Justice Ali Zia Bajwa of Lahore High Court heard the petition against registering the criminal records of under age drivers. Rana Sikandar Advocate took the position in the petition that despite the assurance of the CTO in the court, the children police named the under age children as criminals. adding to the record, it is requested that the names of the underage drivers should not be included in the criminal record and the names of the children who have been included in the CRO should be deleted.

The court issued orders to the SHOs to release the underage children who were driving. Following the court order, CTO Lahore and SPC Rao also appeared in the court.


Justice Ali Zia Bajwa ordered that the SHO release the children on personal bail. SPCRO stated that the criminal records of young children are being created. While Chief Traffic Officer Lahore Mustansar Feroze has said that the working hours and staff of the driving license offices have been increased, providing better facilities to the citizens. Eight service centers are open 24 hours a day.

According to the details, the traffic police in Lahore is cracking down on young drivers and those who do not have a driving license. CTO Mustansar Feroze said that more than 7 thousand cases were registered in 21 days and the vehicles were closed in police stations. Mustansar Feroze said that in 15 days, cases were registered against 9 thousand 355 drivers without license, 2 thousand for driving a car without license and 2 thousand for driving a motorcycle. But 7 thousand cases were registered.

CT Olahor said that those driving vehicles and motorcycles without a license do not deserve any exemption, those who give vehicles and motorcycles to young children also do not deserve any exemption. Hours and staff of license offices have been increased, eight service centers are open 24 hours to provide better facilities to the citizens. One hundred sixty-one citizens got new licenses while eighteen thousand thirty-two citizens renewed their licenses.
