The weather system in the Arabian Sea turned into a powerful Cyclone

Located 1850 km southwest of Karachi, the Meteorological Department has issued another alert. 

KARACHI: Cyclone Tej in the Arabian Sea has turned into a strong cyclone, the Cyclone Warning Center of the Meteorological Department has issued an alert. According to media reports, the Meteorological Department has issued another cyclone alert in the south-west of the Arabian Sea, stating that the storm has further intensified into a severe cyclonic storm, in the center of the storm. Winds of 150 to 160 kmph are blowing and the speed of these winds is exceeding 120 kmph.


According to the Department of Meteorology, waves around the storm are rising up to 25 feet. The distance of Cyclone Tej is 530 km from Oman, the intensity of the storm will increase in the next few hours.

According to the alert issued by the Meteorological Department, Cyclone Tej will move north-west towards Oman and Yemen, 1850 km south-west of Karachi, while 1600 km from Gwadar. , Pakistan's coastline is not yet under any threat from the cyclone.
