Lahore Police arrested several workers who participated in the workers' convention of Tehreek-e-Insaf. According to media reports, despite the permission of the district administration, the police detained several workers on the occasion of the Tehreek-e-Insaf workers' convention in the Kahanna area of ​​Lahore. 55 PTI members were detained.


It has been reported that the police also raided the office of the leader who organized the convention, broke the windows of the office and tore down PTI flags and posters while putting the workers in jail vans and taking them to police stations.

It is being told that the district administration has given permission to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf to hold a rally on October 22 in constituency NA-123 Kahna.

On the other hand, a case has been registered against dozens of workers including PTI leaders for holding a workers' convention in Mardan without permission. Named accused include 5 former MPs and one MNA, names of some members of PTI's legal team are also included in the FIR.
In the FIR, the provisions of holding a workers convention without permission and blocking the road have been added.
