Robots will now pick up garbage in Dubai

Garbage collection in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will now be done by robots, for the first time drone robots will be used to collect floating marine debris.

According to the report of the international news organization, the aim of this initiative is to ensure environmental protection through modern technology and solutions.

According to the report, this advanced floating robot is capable of working in both fresh and salt water and cleaning small and narrow spaces.

It is capable of operating in self-driving mode for up to 6 hours at a time, while the PixiDrone has a capacity of around 160 liters of waste.

The specialty of this innovative robot is that it is connected to a video camera and remote sensors, technology, and to separate different forms of waste such as organic waste, plastic, glass, metal, paper, cloth, rubber, etc. Accomplishes its tasks with optical sensing and ranging.

On the other hand, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has made a plan to run an underwater train to connect Dubai with the Indian city of Mumbai.

The 1,200-mile (2,000 km) journey between the two cities will prove to be a unique means of transportation not only for people but also for various goods, including water and oil, the International News Agency reports.

The UAE's National Adviser Bureau has stepped up efforts to develop a feasible blueprint for an underwater railway and determine the type of train required for such an endeavour.

UAE and India have strong and close ties, and there may be additional reasons encouraging Dubai's interest in building this underwater train.
