Meanwhile, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to start the consultation process for the preparation of the code of conduct for the upcoming general elections. According to the ECP spokesperson, the Election Commission has invited the political parties for consultation on October 4. According to the ECP spokesperson, the purpose of the consultation process is to allow political parties to give feedback on the code of conduct. According to the spokesperson, a copy of the draft code of conduct has also been uploaded on the Election Commission website
