In view of the reduction in the prices of petroleum products globally, it is expected to announce a reduction in prices from November 15 in Pakistan as well.
In this regard, the sources say that after the decrease in the global price of oil, the possibility of giving relief to the people of Pakistan is also being shown.
According to informed sources, the prices of petrol and high speed diesel are expected to decrease by Rs.8 to Rs.10 per liter for the next 15 days from November 15.
It should be noted that the price of US West Texas Intermediate crude oil has decreased by 4% since July and reached the lowest level at 78 dollars per barrel.
On the other hand, the value of the rupee has significantly decreased by 6 rupees compared to the dollar, which decreased from 280 rupees to 286 rupees.
It should be noted that the current price of petrol across the country is Rs 283.38 while the price of high speed diesel is Rs 303.18 per litre.
Over the past week, diesel has gone down by an average of $9 per barrel from around $113 to $104 per barrel, while petrol prices have dropped by a dollar to $90 from $91.
