Electricity price increase due to September fuel adjustment, additional charges to be made in November bills






Nepra increased electricity price for one month. According to the media, Nepra has increased the price of electricity by 40 paise per unit for one month. Nepra has issued a notification to increase the price of electricity, the price of electricity has been increased due to the September fuel adjustment, additional charges will be made from the consumers in the November bills.

The electricity price hike will not be applicable to Lifeline and K Electric customers. On the other hand, the government has fulfilled the IMF's condition of increasing the price of gas after electricity, and Ogra has formally approved the hike in gas prices. After the approval, Ogra has issued a notification for increasing gas prices.

The new gas prices will be applied from November, the fixed charges for protected customers have been increased from Rs. 10 to Rs. 400, the price of gas for non-protected domestic customers has been increased by more than 172%, customers who use 25 cubic meters of gas per month. The rates have been increased by Rs 100 per mmbtu.

For consumers using 25 cubic meters of gas per month, the price has been increased from Rs 200 to Rs 300 per mmbtu. The price has been increased by Rs 300 for customers using 60 cubic meters of gas per month. The price has been increased by Rs 600 per mmbtu for customers using 100 cubic meters of gas per month, the price has been increased from Rs 400 to Rs 1000 per mmbtu for customers using 100 cubic meters of gas.

The monthly price of 150 cubic meters of gas has been increased from Rs 600 to Rs 1200 mmbtu. The price of 200 cubic meters of gas has been increased by Rs 800 per mmbtu. The price of 300 cubic meters of gas has been increased by Rs 1900 per mmbtu. The price of 300 cubic meters of gas per month has been increased from Rs 1100 to Rs 3000 mmbtu. The price of 400 cubic meters of gas has been increased by Rs 1500 per mmbtu.

The price of 400 cubic meters of gas per month has been increased from Rs 2000 to Rs 3500 mmbtu. For consumption of more than 400 cubic meters of gas per month, the price has been increased from Rs 3100 to Rs 4000 per mmbtu. For bulk consumers, the price of gas has been fixed at Rs 2000 per mmbtu. Gas price for commercial consumers has been fixed at Rs 3900 per mmbtu. The price of gas for the cement industry has been fixed at Rs 4400 per mmbtu. The price of gas for CNG consumers has been fixed at Rs 3600 per mmbtu.
