Biggest score, fastest fifty and century, Nepal team broke many records in the history of T20 cricket.

Kushal Malla scored the fastest T20I century off 34 balls, Deepinder Singh Iri's half-century with 8 sixes off 9 balls.

Nepal team became the first team in the history of T20 cricket to score more than 300 runs. Nepal scored 314 runs for 3 wickets in their 20 overs against Mongolia at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, before Afghanistan scored 278 runs against Ireland in 2019. Kushal Mala, batting at number three, led his team by scoring the fastest T20I century off 34 balls.





Mala broke the record of South Africa's David Miller's century in 35 balls against Bangladesh in 2017 and scored 137 not out in just 50 balls. He hit 12 sixes and eight fours. Nepal's batsmen looked smoky at the Zhejiang University of Technology Pingfeng Cricket Ground, with skipper Rohit Paudal scoring 61 off 27 balls with six sixes.

Dipinder Singh Iri hit 8 sixes in his unbeaten 52 off 9 balls. He holds the record for the fastest half-century, before that India's Yuvraj Singh scored a half-century in 12 balls against England in 2007. 26 sixes in Nepal's innings was also a record, Afghanistan hit 22 sixes against Ireland. Mongolia, whose women's team were bowled out for just 15 runs at the Asian Games last week, were bowled out for just 41 runs. Nepal's 273-run win was the largest ever by runs in a T20 International. Earlier in 2019, Czech Republic won against Turkey by a margin of 257 runs.
